Our Mission

HERspectives seeks to educate, empower, and provide a space for thoughtful commentary on the current political climate, especially addressing issues of social justice as they pertain to women. The fight for gender equality is more pressing an issue than ever.

About Me

My name is Julia Panos and I am currently a high school sophomore in Westchester County, NY. I am very involved in my community and local politics and have a strong passion for social justice. In recent years I have felt helpless reading about increasingly concerning issues in society that directly impacted me. It also came to my attention that many of my peers were not even aware of such issues. Ultimately, I founded HERspectives as a platform not only to educate people and raise awareness on important feminist issues, but to also provide a space for passionate writers to share their voices with the world.
